Mr. Hoskins is a mutant, but one that lives a quiet life with his wife, Mrs. Hoskins, and son Bailey. Mr. Hoskins claims to have the power to fry an egg on his chest.

Major Story Arcs

After years of living as mutants, Mr. and Mrs. Hoskins decide to "come out" to their son. They are relieved at his acceptance of the fact, but then alarmed at how excited he is that he may be a mutant, too. They take Bailey to Xavier's School and have him tested.

Bailey ends up being a mutant, as well, but likely with the lamest power ever. When Bailey refuses to enroll in the school, Mr. Hoskins tries to comfort his son with the very-dad-like line of "You'll always be the most special kid in the world to us, powers or no powers." Mr. and Mrs. Hoskins are then crushed to death by a Sentinel's foot.
