The Armored Giant

Monolith was originally designed after the death of Henry "Hank" Pym (Yellowjacket/Giant-man) after the battle against Absorbing Man in Washington D.C. He was programmed to think and act like Pym by Tony Stark. It is unknown if he possesses the ability to change size similar to the original Giant-man, but does possess powers like many of the Iron Man armors of the past. Sometime after his construction he along with the rest of the Iron Avengers was sent as guardians for President Osborn against the Skull and his inhuman army. After Osborn was murdered by the child terror, the Skull attempted to take control of the Iron Avengers. When he learned he could not, he had the team destroyed.

Monolith along with the other Iron Avengers were reconstructed by order of King Britain and was carried out by the Vision and the Union Jacks, but no longer had the original programming, and no longer able to speak. Last time they were seen their was an army of duplicates made all programed to act as a global police force. Their current whereabouts and missions are unknown, some were seen being sent in to space alongside Iron Maiden to rescue the Eternals.
