Monkey C was part of the original Ape-Avengers who helped Fiona Fitzhugh to create and operate the original portal to take her and The Gibbon back to the 616 universe.
Having seen her do this, he is able to flawlessly recreate her movements. Monkey C was part of the Apeverse Scientist group, whose members included Gro-illa, Dr Bananner and Iron Mandrill, trying to create a working portal to the 616 universe.
He was also part of the attack team, who tried to kill Spider-Monkey when he sabotaged the dimensional portal, eventually casting him as an outlaw.
