While in The Cage, Mo Money becomes one of the ruling class and runs the black faction know as The Brothers. The Brothers are consistently at war with the Skulls, a white power group that worships Red Skull. He uses a brick house, named Axe as his body guard.
During Wolverine's brief stay in The Cage, Mo Money orders Axe to try to kill the X-man, but Axe fails and kills one of Skulls by mistake. This event starts a riot that ends with Wolverine being put into solitary.
