Major Story Arcs

Kron Stone is the older half-brother of Miguel O'Hara, also known as Spider-Man 2099.

Batter Up!
Batter Up!

Kron Stone is a violent psychopath who enjoys killing families, and leaving only one member of the family he targets alive, this was the case on the day he became responsible for the murder of Jake Gallows' (Punisher 2099) family and countless others during a massacre at an amusement park. Prisons no longer exist in this reality, nor does capital punishment, and criminals are only punished by an injection that artificially ages them based on the nature of their crime, social class, and the social class of their victims, and weren't punished at all if their victims didn't subscribe to a private police service like Public Eye. Due to Kron Stone's high social standing he only walked away with a slap on the wrist for the murders he committed. Enraged by this Jake Gallows donned the identity Punisher 2099, and killed Kron's gang, then targeted Kron Stone himself, who wore a force field that protected him against high speed attacks like bullets and lasers, Punisher had a solution to this though, slowly stabbing Kron with a knife. Kron Stone found the Venom symbiote after being dumped into the sewer by Gallows. As Kron lies dying, he brushes up against a black ball. The ball then bonds with him to form the new Venom. The symbiote was described as having mutated over the years, and displayed new abilities in this time line, including acidic blood and saliva. It was revealed that the symbiote bonded with Kron on a molecular level, giving Kron an amorphous physiology that allowed his body to take on the properties of the symbiote itself. With this new power, Stone seeks to emotionally torture his half-brother by hurting those close to him, going so far as to kill Miguel's former love Dana.

Spider-Man 2099 and Venom 2099 fight, and Spider-Man defeats him after he has the town turn on sonics through all of the speakers, thus neutralizing Venom. They then bring him back to the lab for study. Later, after the symbiote was separated from Kron, it merged with Roman, the Sub-Mariner, who fled to the ocean.

Alternate Realities

Timestorm 2009-2099:

Kron is not Venom 2099 in this version, nor is he the serial killer he was in the original 2099 stories, in this reality he was a high school bully, who while psychotic, was yet to commit murder. An accident at Alchemax inadvertently fused Kron's DNA with a scorpion he was experimenting on, and thus Scorpion 2099 was born.

After the accident Kron was taken away by his father Tyler Stone, Miguel has yet to make the connection that his high school bully is his super-human nemesis, Scorpion.
