When the Builders attacked Galador, Kiru and her friend Sanno were saved from two Aleph drones by the Spaceknights, afterwards Captain Universe appeared before her and Sanno and explained her rather morbid purpose for being on Galador: to watch the beginning of the end of existence. Kiru died wrapped in Sanno's arms when the Builders destroyed Galador with an unknown weapon of cosmic annihilation.
