Jyx is an Iridian who is the mate of Khirn. She was with him when he brought home the Gleambody.

When Harquis Tey and the other rebels arrive to take the body, she went with them so not to be confused with being a rebel and killed. She later pleads with Tey to turn himself over when the Grand Overseer orders her Territorial Troopers to kill innocents. Tey tells her to have some faith.

When Khirn betrayed Tey to the Grand Overseer, he became an important man. But he left Jyx behind. Two remaining rebels (Jurias and Gilun) sought her out and killed her, even though she had nothing to do with their leaders betrayal.
