Origin

A longtime member of the royal The Imperial Guard. The Imperial Guard is a legion of superpowered champions who protect and defend the Shi'ar galactic empire. Its members are drawn both from the Shi'ar and other alien races governed by the Shi'ar. The majority of the Imperial Guard's members are known as Borderers. They assist the governors of conquered planets in enforcing the Shi'ar imperial law and also assist in patrolling the respective properties from possible conquest.

The Imperial Guardsmen however belong to the elite corps that protects the ruler of the empire, known as the Majestor or Majestrix, and executes his or her orders. Husser would rise through the ranks of the current Imperial Guard often having charge of missions or combat senerios. Her dangerously sharp mind allowed her to go under the wire from faction to faction as the title of Majestor and Majestrix changed over time.

Creation

Astra was created by Chris Claremont, John Byrne and Terry Austin and first appeared in X-Men #137. She was a part of the second wave of Imperial Guard characters that debuted then, alongside Earthquake, Warstar and Manta.

Powers and Abilities

Hussar is able to channel bio-electric energy through her preferred weapon, her whip, or other weapons which can stun her opponents. It can even paralayze the person who ever got stunned by Hussar. She uses Shi'ar anti-gravity device to fly.
