Origin
James "Honcho" McDonald was a C.I.A. field agent until he became fed up with the red tape and political posturing within the agency. He then formed Team America (later renamed The Thunderiders) as a cover for his personal global counter-espionage campaign.
Powers
Honcho is skilled in firearms, tactical strategy, and various hand-to-hand combat techniques.
He is also a mutant who shares a mental link with the other members of The Thunderiders. The Thunderiders can project their physical strength, abilities and knowledge into a host body. This host body takes on the form of a black-leather-clad individual known as The Black Marauder.
