Heatwave was the second-in-command of the second generation Spaceknights. He desired to usurp power from Dominor, the only one outranking him. He took every opportunity that presented itself to point out Dominor's weaknesses. He had no desire to ever give up his powerful Spaceknight armor and become human again. He destroyed the human forms of all Spaceknights held in storage. He later convinced his fellow Spaceknights that destroying the entiire planet of Galador was the only way to ensure no rebel human survived. They formed a "Ring of Power" intended to do the did but it actually slew every Spaceknight that participated in it. Dominor had taugh them a self-annihilation practice.
