Origin

Thomas Gideon, aka Glorian, was first introduced back in the Silver Age in FF #34. Here he befriended the Fantastic Four by trying to save them from defeat at the hands of his wealthy father, Gregory Gideon.

Thomas and his parents were flying in a private jet when they were caught in an explosion of Russian nuclear tests. Thomas was the only survivor, thanks to the Shaper of Worlds. He taught Thomas to manipulate reality and dreams.

During the Annihilation Event the planet that Glorian was attempting to make into a Utopia was consumed by the Annihilation Wave. It is unclear if Glorian survived the attack.

Creation

Glorian was created by Gerry Conway and John Buscema and first appeared in Fantastic Four #34 published in January 1965. It wasn't until Incredible Hulk #190 that he acquired the look and name of Glorian.

Powers and Abilities

Glorian had his natural physiology tampered with, his potential unlocked by the Shaper Of Worlds. Now massively powerful, Glorian found he could rewrite and manipulate matter itself via the use of manipulating and restructuring of cosmic power stored within the binding elements of atoms. Glorian can control and manipulate tachyons. Glorian possesses limited telepathic abilities. Glorian's restructured reality volume is limited not just by area but by a rough time limit of one Earth day. Glorian can teleport long distances. Glorian can use his powers in versatile ways, enabling teleportation, augmentation of physical attributes, such as strength and durability, and for the effect of generating and projecting energy blasts.
