Origin and history

Flubber was a member of Gambit's training squad at the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning.

He was very loyal to the other kids on his team, even joining Onyxx and Rain Boy in a possible coup against their mentor, Gambit, during a camping trip when they felt he might have been taking advantage of the affections of fellow teammate Foxx, but they were soon put in their place. Later, when Foxx turned out to be the villain Mystique in one of her guises, Flubber tried to restrain and calm Onyxx, who refused to believe that Foxx wasn’t a real girl that he had a big crush on.

He was presumably depowered on M-Day as he was not seen with his classmates during Emma Frost's student brawl.

Powers and abilities

Flubber is a mutant with a rubbery body that grants him heightened agility, strength, and the ability to leap great distances. He also possesses unusually large hands and a generally large body.
