Origin
Lord Feldspar was the uncle of the twin princes Crystar and Moltar, and ruled as Regent while the two fought each other. He had his upper half transformed into crystal and his lower half transformed into magma to symbolize his neutrality in the dispute between Order and Chaos.
Creation
Feldspar was created by Mary Jo Duffy and Bret Blevins and first appeared in The Saga of Crystar, Crystal Warrior issue 1 (1983).
