Dr. Lovosno developed a method of maintaining the youthful appearance of his clients at the cost of turning them into zombies. This seemed to include himself. Deadpool blew up Dr. Lovosno's castle and a severed head from the explosion did speak to him about betrayal, it is unclear if it was the doctor's but seemed to most likely be, indicating he could survive without a body. Deadpool punted the head into the castle fires caused by the explosion but a death confirmation was never provided.
