He may or may not be a vampire by origin but his true origins are not known. He captured many citizens of New York and the tunnel dwelling Morlocks to feed on. This was stopped by Marrow of the X-Men and Spider Man. Crown flees at the end of the battle.

Crown has super strength and speed, sharp claws on each hand and fangs. He also has control over bats and can fly.
