Brute and Hump were the muscle behind Masque's leadership of the Morlocks. The three of them entered Xavier's Mansion and tried to take Feral from the New Mutants. In approaching the New Mutants, Cable shot Brute in the head, killing him, and thus stopping the assault.
Years later, Brute was resurrected on Krakoa and rejoined the Morlocks, along with his brother. The team battled the Reavers, on Madripoor.
Creation
Brute was created by Fabian Nicieza and Rob Liefeld in 1991 and first appeared in New Mutants # 99.
