Borrob is a Pusk, a sentient rock from the planet Puskiger. He gains nourishment from the dust like all Pusks. But he dreamed of more and bartered his immortality for a piece of the Gleambody. He hoped this would help him evolve. He named the piece Foddof - translated to Borrob's Mate.
The piece gave him the power of the Silver Surfer and the ambition to save the universe from the Uni-Lord. He soon joined others that had similar experiences - the Silver Skyriders.
He battled the Black Surfer with them and also attempted to attack the Uni-Lord himself. But he had his powers stripped along with the other Skyriders. They watched as the Silver Surfer defeated Uni-Lord.
