She and Bruce broke up when he became jealous of Angela achieving the coveted grant for graduate study and he did not. Angela became one of the world's best in the field of neuropsychiatry.

After many years, Bruce came back to Angela in distress, thinking he'd contracted an incurable disease. Angela got a chance to study the Banner/Hulk Multiple Personality Disorder, as she saw it. She is currently partners with Doc Samson.
