Alesky was a Polish jew rescued by Magneto from an armed robot. Magneto tried to recruit Aleksy and his friend to his cause, but they considered Hanukka as important and convinced Magneto likewise. Magneto was reminded that Hanukkah and his resistance movement were both stories about defending the oppressed.
