Elektra's Recruitment
After Stick failed Elektra, Aka was sent to recruit it for The Hand, which saw potential in her abilities. She would continue Elektra's training where Stick abandoned her and would develop her killer instinct. This was all so she could be sent to soften Matt Murdock so he could also be recruited to The Hand.
When she failed to bring in Matt due to her romantic feelings for him, Aka abandoned Elektra just like Stick had.
Devil's Reign
As Kingpin was increasing pressure on the New York City superheroes, Aka started to conspicuously stalk Elektra to throw her off her game. She abandoned the other superheroes to chase Aka. Aka had been working with Kingpin. Fisk lent Aka one of his Thunderbolts, Kraven, to test Elektra's present day skill for their coming war with The Fist.
