History

Harvey

Origin

A young professional boxer from Kentucky, Clip Foster was offered $2000 from his manager if he threw his fight for the heavy-weight crown. Ignoring his manager's offer, Foster beat his opponent and was crowned heavy-weight champion of the world. Volunteering as a test subject for his scientist father's new machine, Clip was shrunken down to the size of a fly. However just as he was about to be enlarged, gangsters lead by Clip's manager break into the lab and demand Clip's father shrink them down. Noticing Clip has also been shrunken down, his manager throws Clip into a vial of acid - hideously scarring him. Defeating the gangsters but watching his father die, Clip adopted the name "Fly-Man" and dedicated his life to battling crime in honor of his father's wishes.

Since then, Fly-Man has fallen into public domain.
