Rachel's grandfather Rex Richards was the original Doc Rocket and Rachel has the same power of super speed. She wears a costume somewhat similar to Wally West when he was Kid Flash and to Jesse Quick's first costumes.
When Waxey Doyle and Shaft started the fourth incarnation of Youngblood, Rachel joined as one of the new members. She begins to question the purpose of this version of Youngblood and in semi-rebellion sleeps with one of the team leaders, Task.
In the future, Rachel is a founding member of Shaft's Youngstar team.
