Creation
Axel Pressbutton was created by Steve Moore and Alan Moore and first appeared in issue 22 of Dark Star magazine before moving first to Sounds Magazine, and later to Warrior. The character started out in short humour strips, it wasn't until Warrior that he became more of an action-adventure character.
