Music Master was John Wallace, a music teacher and concert violinist who years before had found the "musical pipes of death," which gave him great magical powers, he is assisted by his side-kick Downbeat.

Music Master can use his pipes to fly, create force fields strong enough to deflect bullets, seal villains in it like it was plastic wrap, or pull a cliff note out of the air and us it like a club, as well being able to let Downbeat grab one to use as a weapon, he can or send the music out searching for items or people he is looking for.
