Nucleon was a superpowered being who was the ultimate soldier from China in the universe of Thunderbolt. She was the most powerful being in the planet, but she had to use regulary an special suit to prevent the excess of radiaton could damage the health of people around her.

Nucleon joined forces with Thunderbolt and others "watchmen" when the planet was victim of an aparent alien invasion, which was orchestrated by a doppelganger of Peter Cannon from a parallel universe.

When they encountered the enemy Thunderbolt, this revealed than in his world there has been another Nucleon on his world, but he was an american soldier. Thunderbolt also revealed than he defeated that Nucleon.

Nucleon is analog to Dr. Manhattan/Captain Atom. As Doctor Manhattan, she was usually radiactive aand had to use a protective suit to avoid contaminate other persons around. She, as Manhattan , also could see beyond the present time.
