Madame Apsara is a member of the Krasue, a race of vampires who appear as a human woman by day. At night they undergo the transformation to a Krasue. Madame Apsara ran the Jai Dam Resort & Spa in Thailand, which serviced many foreign businessmen. Vampirella met Madame Apsara while on the hunt for a Krasue and decided to stay at the spa for relaxation. At night, Vampirella was attacked by the Krasue and rescued from it by Lord Drago, her companion at that time. Together, they found the body of Madame Apsara, to which the Krasue had to return by daylight, or it would be destroyed. With the body, they lured the Krasue and trapped it. Vampirella killed Madame Apsara by removing her heart and drinking the blood of the Krasue.
