Lauren was the bargirl at the Clock, a pub and bar very nice. She is the daughter of the onwer of the pub, so she always was there preparing for the day when Sally, her mother, gave her the control of the bar.

In the Watch story, Lauren is a representation of the civil identity of the character of the Silk Spectre, reapiting the themes of following her mother footsteps, but under a more positive light. She also shared a complicated relationship with Danny and Johnny.
