Zahara was the wife of Prana and a member of the mysterious group known as the Circle. After Prana died trying to discover if Superman was one of them, Zahara blamed the Kryptonian for his death and used all the resources of the Circle to discover if Superman was really the "lost one" as Prana believed or to destroy him. After several defeats, the Circle, led by Zahara, used the collective mind force to leave this dimensional plane with the unwilling help of Superman, leaving the hero questioning himself if they would even return or if the mysterious "lost one" would ever appear.
