Tyb-Ol was a Kryptonian, imprisoned in the Phantom Zone for unknown crimes.
Story Arc
Tyb-Ol escaped thanks to a Kryptonite jewel, which all the Kryptonian criminals concentrated on allowing four of them to escape. General Zod, Faora, Murkk and himself escaped to defeat the Vrang, a long time enemy of the Krypton, and took a sacred oath of Hadrad, forbidding them to perform any criminal act until their task was complete.
While attacking the Vrang starship along the other escapees, Tyb-Ol and Murkk were killed by the Vrang's advanced weaponry.
