Origin

Tommy Terror is the fraternal twin brother of Tuppence Terror; he is three minutes older than his sister. He currently lives in Central City, and was presumably raised there, though he and his sister speak with a heavy Southern accent that may suggest they originated elsewhere in the state or the country.

Creation

Tommy Terror was created by Greg Weisman, Kevin Hopps and Mike Norton. He was created to tie into the Young Justice animated show.

Major Story Arcs

Young Justice

Tommy and his sister visit the Central City Mall, and decide to rob a jeweller's, Gemini Gems. They are confronted by Superboy and Kid Flash, and proceed to fight the young heroes. Tommy and his sister hold their own against the heroes until their fight moves outside. While fighting outside, he and Tuppence are frightened by the arrival of Superman and the Martian Manhunter. The twins flee, and are pursued by Superman.

Powers and Abilities

Tommy possesses superhuman strength and endurance. His strength enables him to jump to great heights and over great distances. His powers are of unknown provenance, but are presumably inherent metahuman abilities.

In Other Media

Young Justice

Tommy appears in the Young Justice episode "Terrors". There, he and his sister are defeated fairly early in the episode by Superman and Martian Manhunter following a three-state rampage that culminates in New Orleans' French Quarter. Tommy is impersonated by Superboy, who uses Tommy's image to infiltrate Belle Reve. He later joins up with the Light. His character design was redesigned slightly for the show proper; his eyes, which are brown in the comic, are blue on the show. He is voiced by Yuri Lowenthal.
