Thunderer was created by Grant Morrison and Ivan Reis as a protagonist of the Multiversity storyline. He hails from earth 7, an universe than it was an analog of the original Ultimate Marvel universe. This means than Thunderer was not only an analog of the Ultimate Marvel's Thor, but also he is a doppelganger of DC's own Wundajin.
Bio
Coming from the alternate world of earth-7, Thunderer was an Aboriginal Australian, the Lightning Brother of the Mowanjum People, and a living storm god. He was saved by Nix Uotan from annihilation at the hands of The Gentry. Searching to return the favor, Thunderer recruited heroes from several paralel universes to rescue Uotan and to stop the menace. He now is the only survivor of his Earth and protects the Multiverse as part of Justice Incarnate.
