The Wrecker is a small-time, masked Gotham criminal who appears to wreck the attempts of the populace to honor Batman and Robin in any way. He and his gang smash Bat-statues, Bat-toys, and even kidnap and murder the author of a book about Batman. The last crime turns out to be a ruse by said author, who sought to escape gambling debts by faking his death and having his brother collect the insurance.
The Wrecker later appears allied with a handful of foes of each of the Justice League members.
His costume is almost the same as the Executioners, a one-time Batman-foes. Only that executioner had E in the place of W.
