First issue:
Golden Glider blamed Barry Allen for the death of Top, her husband. So she decided to create a villain to fight him. She found a man named Beau Baer, a writer, and hypnotized him. She then outfitted him with many rings that did different powerful tasks, made him hate Flash, and set him loose. She used Ringmaster and made him appear a hero, letting him "capture" her. She also hypnotized Barry's wife, Iris, to run off with Ringmaster. She accidentally fell in love with Ringmaster in an amazing twist, though.
