He wipes the programing of a captured OMAC and reprograms it to make it a reprogrammable blank slate. He is able to physically control Remac through a device. While trying to upgrade the device it shirts out and Salah's mind becomes stuck in ReMac's body. He fights along the Outsiders for a time, but is killed when Doctor Hurt, posing as Batman, uploads a virus into the ReMac body and he explodes. Thunder is injured by the explosion and put into a coma.
