Origin

After Ice leaves her homeland Ewald Olafsdotter takes the kingdom from their father, King Olafsdotter. Queen Olafsdotter sends for help and gets in contact with the Justice League Europe. The JLE contacts the Justice League America and Ice investigates what is going on. When the JLA loose contact with Ice they investigate as a group. Queen Olafsdotter goes with the JLA and helps them overthrow her son. This puts Ice as the next ruler. Ice then decides to turn her country into a democracy.

Creation

Although Queen Olafsdotter was Ice's mother for decades she seems to have been recently retconed out of existence in the new origin story in Justice League: Generation Lost. She is now a figment of Ice's false memory.
