Pike was a mercenary that helped Daemonites, such as Helspont, to take over the world, which put him at many times against the likes of the WildC.A.T.s. He was later killed by Warblade.
Worldstorm Universe
Pike reappeared alive and going after Gen 13.

Pike appears in the New DC Universe, however, much of his character history has been altered. He is currently in conflict with Hawkman.
