On Patina's home world of Betegeuse she always found herself unhappy. Then the Poglachians arrived and gave her a power ring, with it Patina can change her appearance with but a thought.

Patina is part of the group of Poglachian Green Lanterns Corps who attack Guy Gardner under the orders of the Polglachians who were pretending to be the true Guardians of the Universe. Guy was defeated and taken away. When he returned to Polglachian's home world, Patina was there to attack him again but due to Guy actions the Poglachian created power rings disappeared. In stead of beating up Patina and her team Guy felt bad for them and was going to send them each home.
