Origin

Very little is known about Newton. At some point he joined the Delta City Police Department, and became a detective. He also married Minx, from whom he later divorced

Creation

Newton was created by Keith Giffen, Tom Bierbaum, and Mary Bierbaum. He made his first appearance in The Heckler #2.

Major Story Arcs

The Heckler

Newton encounters the Minx in the aftermath of her brutal vigilante activities, and briefly chastises her, but makes no effort to arrest her. He later arrests C'est Hay after the villain is defeated by Heckler.

Powers and Abilities

Newton has no known superhuman powers or abilities. He is a police officer, and so presumed to have training in armed and unarmed combat, and investigative techniques.
