Mist Master hasn't been seen since Flashpoint. Whether he is going to appear in the future is unknown. His last appearance was in Geoff John's Final Crisis: Legion on Three Worlds where he was apart of Superboy Prime's Legion of Super-Villains.
Origin
Mist Master was a native of the planet Dryad. When Dryad was destroyed by a super-nova, he was one of the 6 survivors. Him and five other survivors were told by the Dark Man that the Legion of Super-Heroes were responsible. They didn't know that the Legion managed to evacuate most of the population. They formed the League of Super-Assassins and went after the Legion.

Mist Master was created by Gerry Conway and Joe Staton.

Original Continuity: New Earth
Mist Master started off wanted revenge on the Legion of Super-Heroes for the destruction of Dryad. When he discover the fact that they didn't destroy the planet, him and all his teammates, with the exception of Blok; who than joined the Legion, continued with a life of crime.

Mist Master has the ability to transform himself into gas. When he does this, he takes on the properties of the gas he transforms himself into.
