A rebellious teenager, Meredith was always looking for a way out of her boring life.

Creation

Meredith was created by Matt Wagner and Amy Reeder Hadley. She made her first appearance in House of Mystery Halloween Annual #1.

Major Story Arcs

House of Mystery

Meredith and her friend go to an esoteric shop where Meredith finds a mysterious mask. She finds that wearing the mask allows her to enter different lives. While at first bright and enthralling, the lives grow increasingly dark and frightening, but she is unable to keep away from the mask. She withdraws from her life and soon finds herself on the streets. She is rescued by Madame Xanadu, who takes the mask and sends her back to her normal life.
