Mara was born around 45,000 years ago into the city of Thamuz. The sorcerer Garn Daanuth was in search of a mystic crystal. Mara's father had her flee from the battle with the mystic crystal. Garn Daanuth's man swiftly killed her father in battle. Lady Chian and Wynnde rescued Mara from Daanuth's men and she lived in the city of Atlantis.
She became an ally of Atlantis' protector, the mage, Arion. She saved his life and led him to safety when Atlantis sank.
