After the events of the Number of the Beast and the ensuing chaos, an unknown boy awoke with powers similar to the hald human/half cherubim hero Backlash.
Eventually, he was recruited by the ex-mercenary Pike along with Void, Crimson and Union to help other survivors in to reach safer zones in the dead landscape.
Later he helped in the war against Sebastian and the Red Blade grew.
