Origin
Kahina Eskandari was born a Palestinian ferrokinetic. Her parents were murdered when she was young, and a promise of revenge served as her reason for joining the Shadow Cabinet. She would then form a secret affair with the groups leader, Dharma. Due to their relationship Iron Butterfly is completely loyal to Dharma, and serves as the field commander of the team.
Trivia
Iron Butterfly is a rarity in that she is one of the few Palestinian heroes in a mainstream position. Her power is also an oddity as she is a ferrokinetic, a person who controls metal down to its molecular make up.
