A pretty liberal woman for the 50s and occasional lover of Missile Man, Stella Blake, aka Ingenue, was a telepathic hero in the Wildstorm Universe. Even if the relationship was not that deep, she had left a deep impression on Missile Man, enough to him care for her.
When she was targeted by the Number of the Beast for capture, as a telepath, Stella was aware of what was coming. For a telepath of her quality such prison would be a hell. Ingenue choose to take her own life before being captured. Her death was the breaking point for an already distrustful Missile Man who choose to defect the Number of the Beast, but he also was captured by them.
