History
During the battle to prevent the destruction of the universe by Nekron, Lord of the Unliving, a strike force of Green Lanterns was easily dispatched by the overwhelming power of the renegade Guardian, Krona. With the universe rapidly contracting, Krona thought to show "mercy" to the Green Lantern Corps by advising them to spend the universe's remaining time with their loved ones. The renegade Guardian warned the Lanterns to give up their fruitless attempts at stopping him and return to their respective home worlds.
With their power diminishing and their chances of success appearing bleak, many Lanterns such as Hive Brother thought the Corps was defeated. Hive Brother expressed these doubts and considered returning home to spend his last moments with his Hive Mother. Ultimately, Hal Jordan's defiant refusal to surrender inspired Hive Brother and his fellow Lanterns to re-engage Krona, no matter the odds.
Hive Brother fought alongside the Corps when they eventually defeated Krona and banished Nekron back to his undead realm. His future activities have not been reported.
