Hakim a newly freed Arabian slave of Sinbad, he has had trouble adjusting to modern-day New York. Due to his former job, Beauty and Beast have had not only trouble with communicating with him but finding a more simple job. He, inadverntly insulted bookshop customers. He scared Crispin and Cinderella's customers at her shoe store, his last job was delivering groceries. He became the bodyguard to Briar Rose when she agreed to use her curse to disable the Empire's capital city. To date, he is still asleep together with Mrs. Someone who acted as Briar Rose's magical guardian.
Recently, Briar Rose was carried out of the city by goblins, before the city was burned to the ground. While its not seen, nor is it stated, its assumed that Mrs. Someone and Hakim were killed in the fire.
