Wally West, the fifteen year old Kid Flash, befriended Gorilla Montague. With Kid Flash's aid Montague recovered and returned a simian skull to an indigenous gorilla burial grounds near Gorilla City in the African Congo. Adventurer Buck Wargo, who stole the simian skull, is Montague's rival.
