Origin
Little is known about Famine Lass. She was taken on as an apprentice and sidekick by the Horseman of the Apocalypse Famine. She and her compatriots in the Four Mopeds of the Apocalypse settled in Delta City, where they spent decades awaiting the signs of the coming apocalypse.
Creation
Famine Lass was created by Keith Giffen, Tom Bierbaum, and Mary Bierbaum. She made her first appearance in The Heckler #5. She is analogous to the biblical figure of Famine.
Major Story Arcs
The Heckler
Working at her diet and exercise business, Famine Lass observes one of the signs of the End Times- her oreo has three cookie layers in one cookie. She reunites with the other members of the Four Mopeds, who have observed similar signs. Together, they perform the ritual to summon the nether god Flying Buttress.

Famine Lass appears to be a minor angel or deity of uncertain power or provenance. She may be immortal.
