He was one of the Oblivion Bar residents who joined the Shadowpact after Etrigan incapacitated Ragman, Nightmaster, Enchantress and Detective Chimp. When he went to Hell, he turned a demon into stone who was attacking Laura. When they got Blue Devil's Trident back from Etrigan and went back to the Oblivion Bar, Etrigan followed them. He attacked & broke Eli's legs and grabbed Laura while threatening everybody. Eli reached for his gun and shot Etrigan, turning him to stone. Ragman asked how long the effect of his Ghost Guns effected Etrigan, Eli said until the sun came up.
