A criminal native from the world of Tharr, Cryo-King had bigger dreams. Aspiring to join the Legion of Super-Villain's he started to the central cooling system from his planet and declared himself archfoe of Polar boy, (who had never hear about him).
Cryo-King was stopped by Polar Boy and Sun Boy but he revealed than maybe he was not working alone as originally both legionnaires supposed.
Creation
Cryo-King was created to be the arch nemesis of the Legionnaire Polar Boy in the 31st Century DC Universe series Legion of Super-Heroes. He first appeared in Adventure Comics #3, The Boy of Steel, Part Three.
Powers and Abilities
As a native of the planet Tharr Cryo-King negate the vast quantities of heat. When not on his hot native planet he can create cold fields, negate heat/fire, create ice slides and barriers, and shot shards of ice at incredible speeds.
